BFM Europe are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of fireplaces and stoves. They came to us in 2014 to redesign and develop their main company website. In addition they required 8 sister websites for each of their product brands. Each website needed to be uniquely styled to keep in tone with the broadly varying brand identities.
After detailed discussions with the BFM marketing team we concluded that all 9 websites could be managed and maintained from one core system. We also created a strategy that would allow the sites to be easily adapted to incorporate online orders as a future requirement.
Using Magento as a cost-effective content management system, we created 9 bespoke store fronts controlled via one simple interface. Using one core system allowed us to create a more optimised final product that could be easily managed and maintained by the client. Responsive design was one of our core focuses, throughout the project, to ensure the user experience was consistent across all devices.
We received fantastic feedback from not only the marketing team, but the managing director himself. Since launching the site BFM have seen continued results, including a significant increase in traffic across all 9 sites. BFM plan to continue working with us on future developments on this project.
